In January we held our first Trustee Board Away Day since 2019. This was facilitated by Conrad Mepham-Stone, who is a Coach of Excellence.
As well as reflecting on and acknowledging our good work of the past few years, including during the pandemic, we were able to look to the future and make plans for 2024 and beyond.

Robin Walker, Chair of Trustees, The Clare Foundation:
“In all organisations I have been part of it has always been important to bring Trustees and the Chief Executive together to look at any areas that can be approved upon and ensure we are aligned both on our strategic direction and how that meets with all stakeholder needs. I am most grateful to my fellow Trustees and Founder for taking time in their busy schedule to really have a good day discussing and acknowledging the good work that we’ve been doing and what are our plans look for the next few years.”
Martin Gallagher, CEO, The Clare Foundation:
“It has been several years (2019) since we were able to draw our Trustees together for a Board Away Day. In a post-pandemic world, it was great to have Robin, Mike, and all our Trustees together and have our theme discussions facilitated by Conrad Mepham-Stone. I’m grateful to our Trustees who were happy to share their thoughts, concerns and provide intelligence and insight into areas of work as we move beyond – 2024.”
