We were very fortunate to be able to host our Late Summer Soiree at Thomley, a magical charity for disabled people, to play, learn, socialise and feel accepted, in a safe, secure environment. We welcomed many guests who enjoyed networking, meeting old friends and making new ones over a drink and some delicious canapes. The Clare Foundation has been able to support Thomley with a loan and several grants and Mike and Julie unveiled a plaque recognising our support of Thomley’s camping pods.
Mike Clare, Founder & Chairman of The Clare Foundation:
Julie and I are delighted that we were able to come to Thomley. It has been great to see around the estate and I am happy that we were able to support Thomley with a loan and a number of grants over the past few years. Their work and who they work with here is very impressive. We appreciate them hosting our Late Summer Soirée where we have been able bring friends and partners of The Clare Foundation together for an end of summer get together.
Ewan Shinton, CEO Thomley Charity:
Thomley was delighted to host The Clare Foundation’s Late Summer Soirée on a beautiful summer’s evening in September. Thomley’s pavilion and grounds provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of conversation, canapés and the consumption of a good selection of wines. It was a super opportunity for Thomley to showcase its extensive range of facilities, in particular our camping pods, funded by a loan from The Clare Foundation. Mike’s speech gave us all a great insight into The Clare Foundation’s future direction in these challenging times. With Autumn in the air, I’m sure we are all looking forward to the next Late Summer Soirée.
