It was a pleasure to attend the Buckinghamshire #windrush75 event hosted by SV2G and Buckinghamshire New University. We enjoyed listened to inspiring speakers, including Stephanie Boyce, former President of The Law Society of England & Wales, and local residents, and enjoyed good food and entertainment. We have been able to help the Charity with a grant and other support.

Chris Williams, Trustee Chair of Charity Services at The Clare Foundation:

“On behalf of our Founder and the Trustees (The Clare Foundation) – I am delighted that we played a small part in helping SV2G put on these events and this evening’s occasion to celebrate the Windrush Generation here at BNU. Their contribution to Buckinghamshire society has been immense. It was enlightening to listen to Stephanie Boyce, former President of The Law Society of England and Wales speak about her family life and her profession.“

Martin Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer at The Clare Foundation:

“We have to acknowledge and commend the importance and great work of Jacqueline Roberts and the team at SV2G for highlighting and educating us about the Windrush Generation’s contribution to Buckinghamshire. It was a privilege for us to be involved and to join them in their celebration at BNU in High Wycombe. Listening to the life stories from those who travelled here 75 Years ago, put a lot of things into perspective and highlighted how society has to continually evolve.”
