What Is Angels’ Den?

Angels’ Den is a new and innovative way for charities in Buckinghamshire to bid for funding. In September, ten charities will pitch to five Angels for a share of £100,000. Each of our Angels has contributed £10,000 to the pot and The Clare Foundation has matched funded with its own contribution of £50,000.

The charities will have two minutes each to pitch to the Angels and this will be followed by a Q&A session. After each charity has pitched, and the Angels have deliberated, we will find out how much each charity has been awarded. The good news is that every charity will be given a grant.

Mike Clare, our Founder and President, explains more here.

How Do I Apply?

Buckinghamshire based charities, CICs and CIOs are invited to apply by our CEO, Martin Gallagher. If you would like to be considered please email martin.gallagher@theclarefoundation.org. You will be required to send a two page proposal outlining your project, which must be for the benefit of Bucks residents.

What Support Will I Receive?

We are here to support all the charities throughout the process and this will include presentation training with Marcus Thomlinson, founder of The Mindset Revolution. Ceri-Jane Hackling, founder of CerubPR, will also be on hand to advise on PR and communications.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR APPLICATIONS FOR 2024
