Christmas Holidays Charity Roundtable 2021
The Clare Foundation is thrilled to be hosting a Christmas Charity Holiday Roundtable event on the 21st of October.
We are looking to bring together key charity and not-for-profit partners within the county to find out if they have any schemes running to help families and/or vulnerable people in the run-up to Christmas and during the festive school holidays.
Hosting the roundtable will enable us to map the planned and well-established Christmas Holiday support schemes and to better understand where there is an unmet need or where we, as The Clare Foundation, can add value. We have guest speakers from two organisations who will share their insights of supporting communities in Bucks and will outline their planned activities this Christmas and festive school holiday period.
2020 Charity Holiday Roundtable
Last year, The Clare Foundation held a similar Charity Holiday Roundtable event. We worked closely with Bucks-based local charities and not-for-profit organisations to map out the provision of Christmas holiday support across the county.
The team identified four themes as the focus for those in need –
- Food – emergency food parcels and Christmas/festive food parcels
- Schemes benefitting children – toy appeals, school Christmas holiday activities
- Schemes benefitting adults – people living on their own who will be isolated this holiday season or schemes to support victims of domestic violence
- Financial support and grants for individuals’ or households experiencing financial insecurity
Sponsored Charities

Broughton Church, Bernie The Bus (The Bernwode Bus), Friends4CADS (Friends 4 Cuddington and Dinton School), Healthy Living Centre, Heart of Bucks, Khepera, Leap, Lindengate, Radio Christmas, Thomley, Women’s Cultural Arena, Wycombe Homeless Connection.
