We are fortunate to work with many excellent trainers who provide outstanding workshops for our third sector colleagues. Here is a selection of some of the workshops we have hosted so far this year.
Leading Change in the Third Sector with Georgie Sears:
“It has been an honour to deliver these workshops around leading change in the third sector. The varying experiences and perspectives shared by everyone in the room led to some really interesting discussions around both the challenges and strategies of leading change. Martin, Evelyn and Mary create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters a real sense of collaboration and support.”
Martin Gallagher, CEO:
“It was great to have Georgie back, and doing a workshop as part of our “middle managers/ aspiring leaders program.” We are most grateful for her insight and the time she taken to share her experience and knowledge.”
Disrupt Your Volunteering with Chris Wade:
“It was an absolute pleasure to meet with so many dedicated charity leaders at the Clare Foundation, and I am so pleased delegates found the workshop useful.”
Paige Fox-Rendle, Aylesbury Youth Action:
“It was refreshing to speak with Chris during the course about volunteering. As a volunteer organisation, we are always interested in finding new ways to gain more volunteers and how we can best support those we have. I learned that we must adapt our strategies to keep our volunteers focused and engaged! Chris’s knowledge in the field led to some fantastic conversations in the spaces. His rapport with us in the room, felt relaxed and easy which was different from some of the workshops I had been on before. This was also a great networking opportunity and great to hear how everyone else works. Thank you again!”
Leading From The Heart, Thinking With The Hands with Dave Jones:
“It was my pleasure to lead a recent workshop for The Clare Foundation, where we explored what it means to lead with heart, using the Heartstyles framework. This empowers individuals and teams to understand their behaviours and their impact on others, fostering a culture of authenticity, accountability, and empathy. We also did a mini-dive into the identity of some wonderful charities using LEGO® Serious Play®. We considered crucial questions such as: What makes your charity unique? What value proposition do you offer? What are you at the core? Why should people choose you? What drives you?
It was a thoughtful session exploring the emotional and psychological elements driving some truly inspiring work.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this insightful experience.”
Stella Kubale, Chilterns Neuro Centre:
“I highly recommend this training course. Dave provided extensive insights into behaviour styles and management techniques at a comfortable pace. I am confident that the skills I learned from Dave will enhance my abilities as a manager, and I would recommend this course to anyone in a leadership role. The incorporation of LEGO as a training tool was a refreshing and innovative way to gain new perspectives on our practices. I have even integrated this technique into my daily work. Many thanks to Dave and The Clare Foundation for delivering such an informative and practical course.”
