The Clare Foundation Project Spotlight: Bethesda Network’s Mentoring Scheme, 6pm, Monday 19 July 2021

Our Spotlight events give you an opportunity to hear about projects funded by The Clare Foundation; to meet and network with other Bucks based charity professionals and to explore opportunities for partnership working. On 19 July 2021 our spotlight will focus on The Bethesda Network, who have received Clare Foundation Funding to develop and deliver their Mentoring Programme.

What is The Bethesda Network? They are a Milton Keynes based Social Enterprise focused on Social Mobility. The Bethesda Network is passionate about mentoring and developing BAME women and men who want to become leaders. They provide platforms that will give members the tools they need to succeed in becoming leaders in their chosen vocations, businesses, and professions.

BN and our partners match individual mentees with volunteer mentors who have skills and expertise to provide support for the BAME leadership and entrepreneurs in the UK. We want to see a more inclusive environment for BAME in leadership. The Bethesda Network has programmes for young adults to the more mature at all stages of their career or business.

What will happen at the event? The Bethesda Network’s Founder Moriah Priestley, will be joined by colleagues, including a volunteer mentor, and they will give a short presentation about their Mentoring Programme and their New Horizons Women’s Leadership Programme.

The Bethesda Network are looking to build partnerships with Bucks-based organisations who are involved in similar work and who can share the mentoring opportunities available with their communities. They are keen to welcome more potential mentors & mentees to join their programme.

If I can’t join the event, how can I find out more or contact the Bethesda Network? You can visit the Bethesda Network’s website: http://bn-network.com/

The Clare Foundation will be making a recording of the Zoom session and will make it available on YouTube.
