‘Getting On Board’ Partnership Announcement

The Clare Foundation are delighted to announce a new partnership with ‘Getting on Board’ at the start of ‘Trustees Week’.

Getting On Board are a national charity who specialise in helping charities to find the best possible volunteers to serve on charity boards. They also offer support and training to charities to improve their board recruitment, and on the other side of the coin help individuals and their employers to find the best possible opportunities.

As part of our partnership and to celebrate ‘Trustees Week’ (2nd-6th November 2020) we are thrilled to be able to offer some great events, masterclasses and discounts –

  • A special Charity Leaders Forum on Trusteeship in December 2020
  • A series of five masterclasses in January 2021 – focussing on how to recruit, retain and develop effective and diverse trustee boards. It will be free to attend – but numbers will be limited
  • Exclusive discount code to save 50% on the Festival of Trusteeship events

All Charities need Trustees, Trustees are vital to any charity being successful and good governance from Trustees and strong leadership and executive team creates good charities and a better society; we are pleased to work with Getting On Board to bring a series of workshops and seminars for potential and current Trustees and CEOs to learn, exchange ideas and engage with others.”  Martin Gallagher, CEO, The Clare Foundation.

During Trustees Week ‘Getting on Board’ are hosting their first ever Festival of Trusteeship which as quoted by them is “an action-packed week of events – workshops, Ted-style talks, networking events, Q&A clinics, and more.”

Individual online events are priced at between £5 and £15 a ticket and we are delighted to be able to give all our website visitors a discount code – GONB50 to receive 50% off all tickets!
