We were pleased to host a workshop with the title ‘The Organisation’s Data is an Asset’. Miranda Sharp, founder of Metis Digital, spoke about the value of data in general terms, with examples from commerce and government to illustrate how it has been used to change the way organisations operate and serve their communities differently as a result. This was followed by a discussion on how charities might share, use and combine data. Miranda’s use of maps was enjoyed by all.
