Our topic: health and wellbeing in the workplace post pandemic. Learn how you can achieve an individual approach at an organisational level.

The Clare Foundation is pleased to be partnering with BMR Health and Wellbeing to deliver this one hour webinar. This is the second in our series of online events bringing together Buckinghamshire based businesses and not-for-profit organisations – where we discuss topics that resonate whether you’re in the corporate or the third sector.

Our topic for this session is health and wellbeing in the workplace post pandemic. The most important element of any organisation is the staff (or volunteers) that make it tick. It’s not just one person, it’s the team that delivers against the objectives set. So, making sure they’re well, happy and in good mental health is vital to the smooth running of your organisation.

We know that investing in your people is one of the most powerful ways to ‘build your business’ but investing in their mental health is how you ‘better your business’. We aim to show you how you can take proactive and positive steps towards a better, happier workplace.

Learning outcomes

In this session, we will cover the following:

  • What is health and wellbeing at work?
  • Why do employers need a mental health strategy?
  • Mental health is not mental illness
  • A whole organisation approach
  • What impacts wellbeing at work?
  • How can we understand this?
  • How can we measure this?

About our speaker

Sheila Lord, Founder BMR Health and Wellbeing

When it comes to mental health in the workplace, Sheila, by her own admission, has learned from her mistakes. She saw first-hand how businesses and organisations weren’t looking at workplace wellbeing through a strategic lens and saw the lost opportunities for all businesses across all sectors.

Well known for her ability to ‘cut to the chase’, Sheila believes that workplace wellbeing isn’t just about fruit bowls and yoga and that you can’t simply magic away employee stress by ‘fixing’ people.
