Volunteers’ Week 2021 is a time to say thanks.

This year’s Volunteers Week is the 37th annual Volunteers’ Week and is taking place during the #MonthofCommunity.

Volunteer Matching Service

The Clare Foundation have worked in partnership with Community Impact Bucks and Buckinghamshire Council to manage the Covid-19 Volunteer Matching Service since the first lockdown in March last year. The VMS have placed over 1000 volunteers into active roles. Our volunteers have played a key role in the pandemic response and helped charities to reopen services when the restrictions eased.

Hot Food Project

Since 18th March The Clare Foundation have organised and facilitated food deliveries to vulnerable families in the High Wycombe, Wendover and Aylesbury communities. We are really grateful for the support from the Community Boards, catering partners, My Order Box and of course all the volunteers who are out every week delivering hot meals within their communities. Without our volunteers this project would not have been possible. Meet Daniel, one of our volunteer delivery drivers.

During an exceptionally difficult year, people from all walks of life have taken the time to volunteer and have made a huge difference within their communities. Volunteers Week is a time for us to come together and thank all volunteers for their invaluable contribution. From all of us at The Clare Foundation – heartfelt thanks.
