Join The Clare Foundation on 17th November 2022 for an online workshop hosted in partnership with Cancer Research UK. This workshop is for community leaders, councillors, council staff, charity professionals and volunteers who have a frontline or client-facing role.

Do you want to feel confident to have effective conversations about cancer and health that could help save lives?

Talking more openly about how people can reduce their risk of cancer and spotting cancer early could help save thousands of lives.

If you’re someone who’s able to promote health and well-being in your community – whether you’re a healthcare professional, work or volunteer in your community or are in any role where you discuss health with others – you have the power to make a difference.

Our training will help you to:

  • Talk to people about how they could reduce their risk of getting cancer
  • Help people understand the importance of spotting cancer early
  • Help raise awareness of the national cancer screening programmes available
  • Have effective, supportive conversations about health in general and encourage people to take positive action for their health
