The Clare Foundation projects – helping to make Buckinghamshire the happiest County in the UK
The Clare Foundation advises and supports charities across Buckinghamshire helping them to become more efficient and effective in the work they do.
Some of the areas we help with include; funding, leadership advice, marketing guidance and support, events delivered by expert leaders and social investment loans.
We also bring charities, businesses, community groups, government organisations and industry experts together to engage and collaborate to help……

2ND AMERSHAM ON THE HILL SCOUT GROUP
2nd Amersham on the Hill is a thriving scout group in Amersham, Buckinghamshire who bring fun, challenges and adventure for children and young people in the local area. The old scout building was over 50 years old and not in great condition so they set up a grant funding page to help raise funds to replace their building that was falling apart.
The Clare Foundation supported their fundraising campaign by providing them with a grant for £25K to support their fundraising efforts. The Scout Hall needed to raise £2.1 million pounds and now wish to thank The Clare Foundation and many other supporters for their generosity.
ONE CAN TRUST
One Can Trust are a food bank providing emergency food parcels to people and families in crisis in our community. Serving High Wycombe, Marlow, and across South Bucks. Their Street Hero campaign has been hugely successful and has contributed a staggering amount of food to the local community since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Clare Foundation provided them with a £5000 grant which enabled them to buy some much-needed racking for the warehouse to effectively use the limited space to store food parcels and do so in a much safer way. The One Can Trust team are extremely grateful for the Clare Foundations’ support in helping them continue to deliver food parcels to anyone in South Bucks who needs help.

Rest & Reflect initiative
The Clare Foundation awarded Lindengate seed funding to help launch their new Rest & Reflect initiative.
The initiative offers keyworkers the chance to visit Lindengate for much needed time out, an opportunity to connect with nature and escape from the stresses of work.
Co-founder Charlie Powell believes it was thanks to the partnership with The Clare Foundation, that her team were able to leverage all the funding.
Boredom Buster project
The Clare Foundation, along with the Rothschild Foundation, supported Leap in funding their Summer Boredom Buster project.
Children were among those hardest hit by the Coronavirus pandemic and many had limited or no access to sport or physical activity opportunities during lockdown, which negatively affected their physical and mental health.
We are delighted to have helped Leap support a key number of families who were impacted by the Coronavirus.
