The Clare Foundation, alongside Heart of Bucks and the Rothschild Foundation are pleased to launch their Buckinghamshire Wellbeing Capacity Fund.

COVID-19 presents a number of challenges to the wellbeing of Buckinghamshire residents, especially those who have been, and will continue to be, disproportionately impacted by the pandemic and the related effects.

Successful applicants will receive a one-off grant to deliver a holistic project working to create new capacity to support wellbeing across the county and make Buckinghamshire’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic sustainable, with reach into all communities.

We hope that this fund will support potential new ways of working for the sector that will have both immediate and longer term impact.

Grant size

£68,000 plus possible additional £5,000 for partnership working costs.

Who can apply?

Registered charities, voluntary and community groups which are based in, or operate for the benefit of, residents in Buckinghamshire. The lead applicant must be formally constituted and operate for public benefit.

Preference will be given to consortium/partnership applications of two or more local organisations.

Closing Date

The closing date for applications is 30th September 2020. Decisions are expected in mid to late October.

For the full criteria and how to apply please visit the Heart of Bucks website.

Open Workshop

We recognise that working in partnership brings its own challenges and requires a greater degree of planning.

To help facilitate the multi-agency discussions that will be needed to form suitable projects, the Funders hosted an open workshop. This workshop enabled organisations to meet, hear about the identified needs across the county and discuss the challenges and possible solutions. It was an opportunity to meet other organisations with a potential interest in this project.
