Buckinghamshire Volunteer Matching Service

Buckinghamshire Council have stepped up the Buckinghamshire Volunteer Matching Service in readiness for a potential tightening of restrictions due to the increase in COVID-19 cases we’re seeing.

As a result, this means we have re-opened the volunteer recruitment. We are looking for new volunteers across the county but have a particular need for volunteers based in, or living close to High Wycombe, Great Missenden and Chesham.

“Volunteering is as critical to the backbone of community service; during the first lockdown we had a massive number of people volunteer across Buckinghamshire. Without a doubt many more vulnerable people would have been at risk If we hadn’t have had so many terrific volunteers. We now need those who would like to volunteer to come forward.” Martin Gallagher, CEO, The Clare Foundation.

A press release has been issued by Community Impact Bucks with more information and how you can potentially help in your community.
